T. A. HARRIS ARTIST BIO

I began my art life as a self-taught teenage painter and printmaker. I became enthralled with photography, about 1970 and decided to get my MFA in the medium. On returning to Seattle I began teaching photography at the Art Institute of Seattle. I retired AIS after 25 years and decided to move to Yakima with my wife Susan. I have worked in series over the years by maintaining sketch books using various materials. Painting and construction is my primary medium at the moment.
