Paper Weaving Workshop
With Artist Susan Harris
DATE: Saturday, October 24
TIME: 10AM–2PM
NOTE: Snacks will be provided.
Using random and assorted paper and materials you will create your one of a kind “weaving.” You will learn basic techniques and then be let loose to explore, experiment, and play. You will leave the class with your creation(s) mounted on a canvas or card and a sense of great delight!
No previous art experience needed. All materials provided.
Bring scissors and any special papers you may want to use in your project.
Open to artists and non-artists!
Min. 6, Max 12 students
COST: $65 (includes supplies!)
Susan Harris is a local artist, working primarily as a painter. She has recently taken up Paper Weaving. Susan relocated to Yakima 13 years ago where she found the most supportive and vibrant art community. She is involved with the Boxx Gallery as a volunteer and also serves on the Larson Gallery Guild board.
